Pacific Quit Smoking Service

This new venture supports Pacific smokers who want to quit as well as their families.

Quit Support is a combination of quit advice, resource material, nicotine replacement therapy and follow up support which is offered via face-to-face counselling on a one to one or group basis, or by telephone.

We also offer advice and practical assistance for the smoker and family to make their homes and cars smoke-free environments.

Our service is provided free of charge for Pacific people who live or work in the Auckland and Waitemata District Health Board areas.

Pacific smokers who want to quit can be referred by their GP, nurse, or a health professional from settings including a hospital or work place. Also, you can self refer!

We are now fully engaged to take referrals and to support our clients and families in their journey to become smoke free. If you are ready to quit, want to make a referral or an enquiry, contact:

 Phone:  0800 TO QUIT – 0800 867 848, or Email: pacificquit@adhb.govt.nz
